Susagna Tubau holds an MA in Linguistics from University College London and a PhD in English Language and Linguistics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and in Arts and Humanities from Universiteit van Amsterdam. She currently works as a lecturer in the English and German Studies Department at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
She is interested in syntax, especially in how Single Negation, Double Negation and Negative Concord are expressed in natural languages. She teaches English Syntax and Variation and Linguistic Change at the undergraduate level, and a module on Advanced Academic Abilities in the department’s MA programme.
