Joan C. Mora is currently coordinating the PhD in Applied Linguistics at UB and has extensive experience in PhD supervision and co-supervision. He is lecturer and researcher in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and English Studies in the University of Barcelona (UB) where he has taught MA courses on research methodology and statistics. He is member of the GRAL research group and coordinates the L2 Speech Research Group. His current research interests include phonetic training, the role of multimodal input on L2 pronunciation development, and individual differences in executive control and L2 phonological acquisition and speaking fluency. He has acted as reviewer for high-impact journals and published internationally (TESOL Quarterly, International Journal of Bilingualism, Language Awareness, Language Learning).
